redBus!

Travelling have become the very important part of my life. The cool breeze with the music makes me feel myself more! Sometimes, I have to travel 45 minutes in college bus just to mark 75% attendance. Also, it takes me 14 hours to be back to home in vacations.

In earlier times, my dad used to spent a hour booking tickets through some agent - confirming stop and time ten times on call with me! With the reference of my friend then, I started using redBus app to book online tickets. It provides facility through its website, iOS and Android mobile apps!

Most of us only know about it's travelling facility. Instead, it also consists of bus hiring, food and fun, pilgrimage, hotels, recharge and rPool! rPool is a new redBus carpool app. Carpool is an arrangement between people to make a regular journey in a single vehicle, typically with each person taking turns to drive the others. It's a ninja technique to save money and of course having a company to enjoy the roads. You know - what the irony is, even I didn't know any of this redBus facility  before writing this blog! YOU CANNOT STOP IF YOU DON'T KNOW BECAUSE YOU DON'T GROW IF YOU DON'T LEARN!

The online apps like redBus helps India go cashless. It becomes an easy option for a user to avail preferred seats with multiple choices of offer codes. There are various coupon codes, promo codes and deals trending for every single day. There are times when I had used some code but it didn't work, but I mostly had benefits using other ones! The codes are also based upon the usage of other online apps to encourage cashless India.

I usually travel from Baroda to Bhuj (then to my native place) in the buses whose last station is Bhuj. Hence, there were no compromises with sleep as the bus department would themselves empty it at last stop. Once going back home, I again got down with my luggage at last stop. Soon I felt, it was not the place it used to be! Still with an unconscious mind - full of sleep, I asked a person about the place. To my surprise, I was in all my conscious the very next moment knowing that I came two hours ahead of my destination. Even though I knew that the bus was different that time, sadly I didn't remember it. 

Then I got into a bus from there to reach my native place. The conductor asked me if I had any online ticket. It was no from my side. He asked me to change the seat because that was already booked. I laughed at that foolish person in my mind who booked a ticket for two hours of journey. When it was my turn to get ticket offline, I was acquainted that it had come from my native place and going a long way. And now, it was a time to laugh on myself. I soon remembered the essay I wrote in 8th standard - The day when everything went wrong. But thank God that all of this happened on the bus station. Finally, I inquired five times for a single bus so that I can take a proper bus to reach home. And I was successful very soon!

This was an experience long time ago and facilities are increasing day-by-day. Now, I receive a call 15 minutes before my destination, if traveled in specific travels. The redBus is really very active on twitter solving issues with different users. We hope that there will be very minimal issues some day so that users have no difficulties and a safe journey!
